Tear Trough Augmentation

The appearance of the tear trough can be hereditary, weight loss related, or related to ageing where there is loss of volume in the mid face.

Costs:

£350

Please note, some patients may require augmentation of the mid-face alongside placement of dermal filler into the tear trough to optimise outcomes.

FAQ

The science bit...

Under eye circles are usually caused by a combination of pigment and hollowing of the region. Dr Sabrina uses TEOXANE’s TEOSYAL® PURESENSE REDENSITY 2 , the only product in the UK licensed for the treatment of the tear trough area, to replace volume loss and in turn brightening the appearance of the hollows.

Is it for me?

If you have dark, hollow circles under the eyes, why not contact us for an assessment to ascertain whether tear trough augmentation may help you.

How safe is it?

The procedure is performed using a blunt tipped needle called a cannula to reduce bruising. I expert hands, this is a safe procedure.

What happens during the procedure?

You will undergo a full facial assessment by Dr Sabrina. Should you wish to proceed with treatment, Dr Sabrina will use a cannula to carefully place dermal filler into the area. The procedure takes approximately 5 minutes per eye and patients tend to continue with their normal day afterward.
