PELLE AESTHETICS COVID-19 POLICY…

Here at Pelle Aesthetics we are making careful plans for the reopening of our doors after the lockdown, to ensure that we are ready to welcome patients as soon as we deem it safe and right to do so. We have taken guidance from Public Health England and will implement every evidence-based intervention to stay in line with our commitment to the safety of our clients. The following is what you can expect when you next contact us for an appointment, and is subject to change based on any new evidence regarding best practice guidelines.

Before Your Visit

  • Wherever possible we will encourage a virtual consultation rather than a face-to-face appointment meaning that treatment planning will take place virtually, prior to your arrival in clinic. This will minimise face-to-face contact and subsequently reduce the risk of any viral transmission.

  • Remember that Dr Sabrina can arrange home delivery of skincare products, too – contact us to find out more.

During Your Visit

  • Appointments will be timed so that no more than one patient is in clinic at any one time, reducing the need to use the waiting room. For this reason, we kindly ask that you do not arrive early for your appointment.

  • In order to keep everyone safe, we ask that anyone who has had a cough or temperature or been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 14 days does not attend for an appointment. Of course, we respect that you may need to rearrange at short notice.

  • When you arrive for your appointment, Dr Sabrina will greet you with a warm smile rather than a handshake or a hug!

  • You will be taken through a triage questionnaire, and we reserve the right to cancel the appointment if necessary.

  • We will check your temperature, and ask you to wash your hands and use sanitising hand gel on arrival and departure. You will also be asked to wear a face mask, which we will provide.

Protecting Our Patients and the Wider Community

  • As always, Dr Sabrina will wash her hands before and after all contact with patients.

  • Appropriate PPE will be worn according to clinical need, and removed and disposed of between each patient.

  • Between each appointment there will be sufficient time to wipe all surfaces including clinic light switches, door handles, the treatment bed and trolley, card machine and iPad.

  • We will temporarily only accept card payments

  • Clinics will be limited to four hour slots to minimise the time that Dr Sabrina must wear PPE.

As you will appreciate, fewer appointments and extra equipment means that our business costs will increase. We will do our best to pass on as little of this as possible to our clients, but please note that some of our costs may be subject to change.

Rest assured that Dr Sabrina has considered it all to ensure the clinic operates to the very highest standards of safety. Taking these steps will make sure we keep each other safe. Thank you for your support, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

We have opened up a waiting list for those who would like to advance book their first appointment: contact us if you would like to do this.

Many thanks, stay safe.

Dr Sabrina
